My background is in video games, and I have worked for three well known and established studios.
I began my career at SEGA working as a QA technician then began leading testing projects. I moved on to work for 2K Games as a Lead QA technician. I really enjoyed my time at that studio, getting to work on games such as 'The Darkness' and Bafta winning game 'Bioshock'.
I then began my career with Sony Playstation. At first my role was as a tools test engineer where I was responsible for testing the art tools that our in house art team used for creating assets for PlayStation Home. I learned how to 3D model during my lunch breaks and was later offered a role as a junior artist. I then worked my way up to Senior Artist during my seven years at PlayStation. I mainly worked creating content for PlayStation HOME then later got to work on multiplayer online game 'Hardware Rivals'.
